ARCHITECTURE
The architecture unfolds along the siteās natural slope, with floors arranged at varying levels. As one moves through the property, the distance to nature subtly changes, allowing the stay itself to resonate with the land. Three overlapping roofs embrace the whole, connecting the spaces into a single, continuous landscape.

A 17-meter-wide opening frames the ever-changing scenery like a emakimono, a traditional Japanese narrative scroll.
Light filtered through glass blocks recalls the presence of water and steam, introducing a gentle rhythm to the space.
BEDROOM
A few steps down from the living and dining area, the primary bedroom is designed like a detached pavilion projecting into the garden.
From its glass-wrapped corner, views extend into the garden and surrounding landscape, offering a sense of floating among the trees and an immersive connection with nature.
The guest bedrooms, one on each floor, face the quiet courtyard, forming simple and serene spaces.
Wood flooring finished with a traditional naguri texture catches the light to create delicate shadows, while gently conveying a sense of comfort underfoot.
PLAYROOM
Light filtered through the rippling pool drifts into the space,
evoking the soft glow of being beneath a riverās surface.
FIREPLACE
Reached by stepping stones from the terrace,
