Sou Fujimoto
Born in Hokkaido in 1971. After graduating from the Department of Architecture at the University of Tokyo, he established the Sou Fujimoto Architectural Design Office in 2000. Following the Grand Prix (L'Arbre Blanc) at the 2014 France Montpellier International Design Competition, he also won the Grand Prix at international design competitions in various European countries in 2015, 2017, and 2018. In Japan, he was appointed as the design producer for the Association Secretariat Venue of the 2020 and 2025 Japan International Expositions. Some of his notable works include the House of Music in Budapest (2021), Musashino Art University Museum & Library (2010), and House N (2008).
